Main activities of the research groups of the Institute for Economic Analysis:

Macroeconomic Policy group the group performs macroeconomic analysis of the real and monetary sector in the short and long term, including problems of fiscal policy and monetary policy effectiveness during economic fluctuations (real sector and financial crises), conducting research on economic growth and economic development policies at the macro level, implementing projects and preparing policy papers.

Public Finance group the group is engaged in the analysis of current problems of state finance and its separate elements, including the budget deficit, public debt, all components of the state overview budget and effective use of extra-budgetary funds, conducting research, implementing projects and preparing policy papers.

Business Development group the group is engaged in conducting research, implementation of projects and preparation of policy papers on current problems in the organizational-management, financial, marketing directions of business, as well as the system of state regulation of business development.

Resource-Based Economy group the group is engaged in conducting researches, implementing projects and preparing policy papers on the demand for natural resources, the supply level of natural resources, the optimal management of resource revenues and the methods of effective use of natural resources in sustainable development.

Green Economy group the group conducts research on the international frameworks of the transition to the green economy (energy transformation), low carbon emission, inclusive development, green employment, green investment, green innovation, green growth, ecological economy and state regulatory policies in the direction of environmental protection, and implements projects. and is engaged in the preparation of policy papers.

Econometric modeling group the group is engaged in econometric modeling of the models used in the studies of other groups operating within the center. For this purpose, it performs econometric modeling activities based on Time Series, Non-Linear Time Series, Panel Data, Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques.

Interdisciplinary research group – the main research direction of the group is the study of psychological, philosophical, sociological and political problems of the economy, including behavioral anomalies, life satisfaction of the population, the level of development of institutions, the main institutional problems that slowdown economic growth, information asymmetry, externality, collective activities, shadow economy, gender economy, poverty, inequality, human capital, social capital, moral capital, social justice, economic ethics, economic ideologies, economic freedom, democracy, the role of political institutions in economic growth, etc. is engaged in conducting research, implementing projects and preparing policy papers.
